Danach beschr\u00e4nkt sich Ihr Einsatz auf Bauz\u00fcge bei Fahrleitungsumbauten. Beim Ersatz der Eisenbr\u00fccke \u00fcber die Emme im Farbschachen durch eine Spannbetonbr\u00fccke kommt sie f\u00fcr das Verschieben der Kranwagen auf dem Umfahrungsgleis und dem neuen, noch nicht elektrifizierten Gleis im Herbst 1960 und Fr\u00fchling 1961 noch einmal zu einem gr\u00f6sseren Einsatz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1965 wird sie von der EBT ein letztes Mal f\u00fcr \u00f6ffentliche Dampffahrten zwischen Solothurn, Langnau und Thun eingesetzt. Nach diesen Fahrten verschwindet die Lok im Lokschuppen von Eriswil (VHB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1972 schenkt die EBT die Lok 8 der Dampfbahn Bern, die so zu ihrer ersten eigenen Lok kommt. Diese wird nach Bern \u00fcberf\u00fchrt und im Depot der SBB beginnt eine gr\u00fcndliche Hauptrevision, die 1978 erfolgreich abgeschlossen wird. Im alten Depot in Burgdorf findet sie ihren neuen Unterschlupf.
