Sie wird an die MThB verkauft, wo sie den aus Dampfloks und Dieseltriebwagen bestehenden Triebfahrzeugpark verst\u00e4rken hilft. Nachdem 1966 auch die MThB zum elektrischen Betrieb \u00fcbergeht, verbleibt die Eb 3\/5 Nr. 5810, zusammen mit der Ec 3\/5 Nr. 3 als fahrdrahtunabh\u00e4ngige Reserve und f\u00fcr die F\u00fchrung von Dampfsonderz\u00fcgen im Bestand dieser Bahn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1974 schreibt die MThB die Lok zum Verkauf aus. F\u00fcr CHF 30\u2019000.- (Schrottpreis!) kauft die Dampfbahn Bern die Lok. In einer vereinsinternen Sammelaktion wird das n\u00f6tige Geld gesammelt. So kann die sonst unvermeidbare Fahrt dieser Lok auf den Schrottplatz verhindert werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>W\u00e4hrend der Saisons 1974 und 1975 steht die Lok im Sensetal im Einsatz. Im Herbst 1975 mieten die SBB sie f\u00fcr die F\u00fchrung von Jubil\u00e4umsz\u00fcgen im Raum Winterthur. Das \u00e4ndert jedoch nichts an der Tatsache, dass der allgemeine Zustand der Lok (Kessel) einen weiteren Betrieb nicht mehr zul\u00e4sst. Sie wird deshalb in Fribourg remisiert. Nach der \u00dcberf\u00fchrung ins Dampfdepot Burgdorf der DBB im Jahr 1985, wird unverz\u00fcglich mit ihrer Demontage und Hauptrevision begonnen, welche nach langer Dauer, mit vielen erlittenen R\u00fcckschl\u00e4gen im Jahr 2009 endlich abgeschlossen werden kann.
